Chinese Church in Christ, San Jose is looking for a Youth Minister to work alongside our current Youth Minister with students in grades 7-12. Our group consists of about 120 teenagers about third who are in junior high. These youth are also mainly American-born Chinese students whose parents immigrated from China, Taiwan, or Southeast Asia. This is a full time position for anyone who has a love to help youth grow in the knowledge of God and show God’s love and grace to them.
Key Expectations:
Seminary/Bible school graduate
Minimum of 2-3 years of youth ministry experience
Call to long-term ministry
Servant’s attitude
Team mentality
Demonstration of pastor’s heart
Joint Key Responsibilities:
Preaching
Teaching
Shepherding and mentoring students
Developing student leaders
Planning & managing weekly activities
Working primarily with junior high students
