HOPE Christian Fellowship is an evangelical, multi-cultural, non-denominational church in the city of San Gabriel in Los Angeles County, CA. We are a growing cell-based church with a weekly attendance of approximately 250 adults and children (about 35 youth). We believe that our cell groups are central to the community life, ongoing discipleship, and evangelistic lifestyle of our members and are believing God to reveal the person He has called to fill the position of Associate Pastor of Youth and Worship. This position entails leading the youth ministry (60%), leading the worship ministry (25%), supervising the children’s ministry team (10%) and other pastoral responsibilities (5%).

We are seeking a dynamic individual who has a heart-felt calling and strong desire to minister the love of Jesus Christ to junior and senior high youth. “Empowering Youth” is one of our seven core values and we are in search of someone who longs to shape Christ in the lives of our youth. We are seeking an individual who also has experience leading worship for weekly services and prior experience managing staff. The ideal candidate would be a Christ-centered individual who is passionate about cell groups and evangelism (both local and global), loves young people, loves worship, has a strong prayer life and solid biblical knowledge, relates well to people, and is a good relationship builder and team player.

This full-time pastoral position with health and vacation benefits is a great opportunity for an individual to be a part of a church which, by God’s grace, is positioned for future growth. A seminary degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 3 years of full-time pastoral employment, along with youth and worship leadership experience is required. Cross-cultural experience strongly preferred and mid-to-large church experience or church planting is a plus. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. We are seeking a Christ-centered individual who is passionate about cell groups and evangelism (both local and global), loves young people, has a strong prayer life and solid biblical knowledge, relates well to people, and is a good relationship builder and team player.

This full-time pastoral position with health and vacation benefits is a great opportunity for an individual to get in on the ground floor of a church which, by God’s grace, is positioned for future growth. A seminary degree (or Master’s degree in related field) and at least 3 years of pastoral experience, along with youth and/or young adult cell ministry leadership experience is required.
