Posted by sedwardyang on May 19, 2008

ERRC has opportunities available this coming Fall 2008 for teachers who are ready to share their heart with university students in one of the world’s most rapidly changing countries.  If you are ready to make the investment of a lifetime, consider the following opportunities.

v  Scientific English—Teach PhD students in science and technology in Guangzhou (two positions open)
v  Biblical and Western Literature—Teach undergraduate students Bible as literature and Western literature in Baoding, Hebei
v  Teach English to PhD students in Beijing
v  Teach General English in Baoding, Hebei
v  Teach American Culture and Literature in Taian, Shandong
v  Teach General English in Tianjin
v  Teach Business English in Tianjin
v  Teach Economics in Tianjin

Most of these positions are one semester commitments (mid-September 2008 to mid-January 2009), while some are for one year. The host institutes will provide free furnished apartments and monthly stipends that are more than sufficient for living in China. International airfare will be reimbursed for one year of teaching. Other benefits may be available. Applicants must have strong professional credentials for the courses they wish to teach, be mature Christians, have excellent health, and have good people skills. Applicants must also be willing to join the ERRC Partnership Team and be willing to raise funds for the cost of partnership and international medical insurance.
