Youth Pastor, Canaan Taiwanese Christian Church, San Jose, CA

Posted by sedwardyang on May 7, 2009

Greetings from Canaan Taiwanese Christian Church! By God’s grace and guidance, we have recently completed our move to our new church location, now conveniently located in the golden triangle area of Silicon Valley, with easy access to all cities in the Bay Area.

I’m writing to you at this time for a very specific request and support.  As you may know, we have been blessed for the last 3 years with Chris Liu (son of Rev Donald Liu) as our Youth Pastor.  He as served faithfully in the youth ministry, and we have witnessed the growth of the our EverGlow youth ministry in both Friday night fellowships, as well as Sunday worship services.  Sadly, Chris has been called to complete his studies in M. Div, and will be leaving us this summer to return to school full time.

We are in search of a fulltime Youth Pastor to continue to lead the EverGlow youth ministry.   As our overall theme this year is “Church Building, Building Church”, youth ministry is one of the key areas that we need to continue to build and nurture for the growth and vitality of CTCC.

We firmly believe God has prepared a special person already. We ask you to join us in prayers to help locate and find this special person in time for summer so our youth ministry can continue and keep the momentum. Attached is a detailed job description, please feel free to forward this to any qualified candidates.

In His Name,

Reverand Ralph Su
